It’s the kind of place where regulars and first-timers alike come looking for comforting plates and a straightforward atmosphere without pretense.

This spot stands out for its substantial breakfast offerings. Dishes like the Chicken Fried Steak Omelette and Half Order French Toast with Bacon and Scrambled Eggs suggest a menu that errs on the generous side, perfect for those mornings when you want a meal that feels like an event. The breakfast burrito and Monte Cristo French Toast Sandwich add a bit of variety, appealing to folks who want familiar flavors presented with a bit of twist. Silver Dollar Pancakes and strawberry-topped waffles cater well to anyone with a sweet tooth, rounding out the menu’s appeal for families or groups with varied tastes.

The Bloody Marys and other morning cocktails suggest a spot where people linger a bit longer on weekend mornings or early afternoons, enjoying both the drinks and the steady stream of plates from hearty breakfasts to midday sandwiches like the 3 Decker Clubhouse with avocado or Ribeye Steak Sandwich for lunch.

Whether you’re a local who appreciates a dependable breakfast joint with a bit of personality or a traveler looking for a slice of Martinez’s everyday dining culture, Copper Skillet Courtyard offers a straightforward, welcoming place to slow down and refuel. It’s best visited late morning to early afternoon when the vibe is bustling but unhurried, making it easy to enjoy a cozy meal with company or solo time over a hot cup of coffee and something substantial from the griddle.

My breakfast at Copper Skillet Courtyard was better than I could have dreamed of in my wildest dreams. I had The Cure, a breakfast special of that day. It was something to die for, especially if you haven’t had your breakfast till 11:00.

I had the strawberry French toast and hash browns which are delicious. Service is okay. The place has an interesting stuck-in-time vibe.

Had a wonderful breakfast here with my mom and daughter this week. I have lived in the area a long time and this is my first trip here. I I'm definitely returning. I had the fiest omelette, which comes with a side of sour cream, pico de gallo, and a wonderful medium hot sauce. It was a wonderful combination of tastes. The hash browns were perfectly golden and the toast was warm and buttered. My coffee cup was never empty and the service was really good. Love the wood interior It feels like a Tahoe restaurant. Good ambience and five. There are a few tables out front on the sidewalk. If you haven't been here you definitely should give it a try.

I kept hearing people rave about this place so went with my wife and toddler to check it out. We were extremely satisfied with everything! The place was packed (understandably) but they still seated us pretty quickly. I almost ordered a regular chicken fried stake but then noticed and specials and got the upgrated Hook-Up version. My wife got the Tony's Special and enjoyed it enough to declare it her main go to choice now whenever we eat here. Especially with a bagel added on the side, as they mix together well. My daughter got the pancake with bacon and was excited to be able to choose chocolate milk as her drink. There are no refills on the milk, but she was full by the time she finished it anyway.

My little guy and I had a free weekend and wanted to fill it with fun adventures and yummy food! We started it off at Copper Skillet and we were so happy with our choice. We ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of breakfast potatoes, and the monte cristo french toast sandwich with a side of hash browns. Everything was so delicious! There wasn’t any wait to get seated, our food came out incredibly quickly, and the service was excellent! We would definitely recommend this spot and we will definitely be back!

Came here for breakfast. And let me tell you that it was a lovely place. Our waiters was really nice and always checked on us. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious. The restaurant decor was really beautiful. Although there were a lot of people there, everyone was taken care of. Lovely place, I would’ve definitely go again!
